Sea, beaches and coves

While in Sa Pobla, we can go to one of the best white sand beaches and calm waters in Mallorca, located in the north of the island. They are perfect to go with the family and children because their waters do not cover near the shore. Here we are going to give a selection of the three beaches closest to the rural house and best valued by its visitors.

Playa de Muro: The beach has more than 5 km of white sand, with a soft and fine texture. It has clear, turquoise waters. (28 minutes from Sa Pobla by car)
Playa Can Picafort: The beach is over 1 km long and about 30 meters wide. Its sand is white and its waters clean and transparent. (18 minutes from Sa Pobla by car)
Playa de Alcudia: The beach is more than 2 km long and about 50 meters wide. It has white sand and transparent waters. The presence of pine and palm trees behind the beach in its sandy areas, give a feeling of tranquility that not even the abundance of people will be able to take you away. We can enjoy in our stay in Sa Pobla some of the best coves in the north of Mallorca, since they are relatively close. If you are already tired of the white sand beach and want to see a picturesque landscape of a cove, here we are going to leave you a selection of the three best coves near the location of the rural house and most valued by its visitors.

Cala de Coll Baix: In this cove you have to walk about 20 minutes down a path that will take you to a very isolated and quiet cove / beach between the mountains, with nature at the edge of the water. (Distance by car to the trail 23 km)
Cala Murta: It is a beautiful cove with easy access, you have to park your car at a distance of 1.5 km from the cove and you have to walk to it. The path is worth it, since we are going to find a spectacular and wild cove in the middle of nature, surrounded by pine trees and cliffs. (Distance by car to the trail 35 km)
Cala Bóquer: In this cove we can find crystal clear waters and a sandy bottom on the beach. Normally it has calm waters, but the northeast wind can surprise us, thus creating gusts of wind and some waves. This cove is very close to Cavall Bernat and d’Es Colomer, being able to observe them from the cove itself.
